North Dakota Repossession Title State: Repossessor License and Repossessor Registration information refer to: North Dakota Repossession Motor Vehicle Department, 608 East Boulevard Avenue, Bismarck, North Dakota 58505

North Dakota Repossession Recording: Filed in the office of the Registrar of Deeds in the county where property is situated. All liens must appear on title. Uniform Commercial Code adopted July, 1966. 

North Dakota Repossession Recovery: Peaceful repossession permitted. 

North Dakota Repossession Redemption: Permitted within 5-15 days after repossession (Check Uniform Commercial Code for details). 

North Dakota Repossession Deficiency: Retaking bars suit for price and vice-versa; under conditional sale contract, no provisions. North Dakota Repossession Confession of judgment notes are invalid. 

North Dakota Repossession Special Motor Vehicle Provisions: None. 

North Dakota Repossession Documents Required to Transfer Ownership of Motor Vehicles: North Dakota Repossession Affidavit of repossession on approved form, certificate of title signed off and notarized Bill of Sale. 

North Dakota Repossession : Remain with the owner and are transferable to the repossessor.
